Janean Strobert became a POST certified law enforcement officer in December 2018. She was first hired by Savannah PD in January 2019 and she worked there both as a patrol officer and a detective until she moved to the Chatham County District Attorney’s Office to work as an investigator.
Following an investigation into double dipping while employed at both the DA’s office and Savannah PD, Strobert was terminated from the DA’s Office, prompting a POST investigation. She submitted a letter of resignation to Savannah PD.
